Der palästinensische Aktivist und Mitgründer von Palästina Spricht, Majed Abusalama, steht in Berlin vor Gericht, um gegen das Urteil eines vorherigen Verfahrens zu protestieren.
Der Schuldspruch wurde nicht auf Basis von Beweisen getroffen, sondern aufgrund eines “Gefühls” von Schuld.
Majed will nicht nur einen fairen Prozess bekommen – er lehnt die Legitimität eines Gerichts ab, das Wahrheit zum Verbrechen erklärt und Mitschuld verteidigt. In diesem Gericht ist Majed nicht der Angeklagte – er selbst klagt an.
Er klagt einen Staat an, der Genozid finanziert, politischen Widerspruch unterdrückt und durch Gerichte einschüchtert.
Majed steht für diese Tweets vor Gericht:

Das sind keine Verbrechen – es sind Statements des Widerstands und der Solidarität. Sie sprechen vom Kampf eines ganzen Volkes um Würde und Überleben.
In diesem Prozess geht es nicht um Tweets. Es geht darum, eine Bewegung zum Schweigen zu bringen.
Warum sind wir vor Gericht?
Am dritten Verhandlungstag steht unser Genosse Majed Abusalama wieder vor Gericht. Beim letzten Termin war die Gerichtsdolmetscherin nicht fähig, das Wort „Genozid“ zu übersetzen. Solange in Gaza ein Völkermord an Majeds Stadt, Familie und Volk stattfindet, werden wir keine Kompromisse machen.
Genozid muss in jedem Gerichts-dokument stehen.
Gaza muss im Zentrum dieses Prozesses bleiben.
Dieser Prozess entlarvt die Repression: private Daten wurden von Social-Media-Plattformen und Telefonanbietern an deutsche Behörden weitergegeben – ein Angriff auf digitale Rechte und ein Versuch, palästinensische Stimmen zum Schweigen zu bringen.
Unser Klage gegen Kriminalisierung
Dies ist kein juristischer, sondern ein politischer Prozess. Während Deutschland mitschuldig am Genozid ist, versucht der Staat, palästinensischen Widerstand zu kriminalisieren.
Seit über 7 Jahren stellt sich Palästina Spricht dieser Komplizenschaft entgegen – seit dem Anti-BDS-Beschluss, über jedes neue Verbot, bis hin zu den heutigen Versuchen, uns zu zerschlagen. Doch sie werden uns nicht zum Schweigen bringen.
Wir sind viele. Wir sind eine Bewegung. Wir sind Palästina – in allen Stimmen, Farben und mit all unseren Träumen von Befreiung.

Palestinian activist and co-founder of Palestine Speaks, Majed Abusalama, is on trial in Berlin to protest the verdict of a previous trial.
The guilty verdict was not based on evidence, but on a ‘feeling’ of guilt.
Majed not only wants a fair trial – he rejects the legitimacy of a court that declares truth a crime and defends complicity. In this court, Majed is not the defendant – he is the prosecutor.
He is accusing a state that finances genocide, suppresses political dissent and intimidates through the courts.

These are not crimes – they are statements of resistance and solidarity. They speak of an entire people’s struggle for dignity and survival.
This trial is not about tweets. It is about silencing a movement.
Why are we in court?
On the third day of the trial, our comrade Majed Abusalama is back in court. At the last hearing, the court interpreter was unable to translate the word ‘genocide’. As long as genocide is taking place in Gaza against Majed’s city, family and people, we will not compromise.
Genocide must be included in every court document.
Gaza must remain at the centre of this trial.
This trial exposes the repression: private data was passed on to German authorities by social media platforms and telephone providers – an attack on digital rights and an attempt to silence Palestinian voices.
Our lawsuit against criminalisation
This is not a legal trial, but a political one. While Germany is complicit in genocide, the state is trying to criminalise Palestinian resistance.
For over 7 years, Palestine Speaks has been opposing this complicity – from the anti-BDS resolution, to every new ban, to today’s attempts to crush us. But they will not silence us.
We are many. We are a movement. We are Palestine – in all voices, colours and with all our dreams of liberation.
Our response: show up!

- Turn their stage of repression into our space of resistance.
Our presence is our power. We will not tire. We will not normalise oppression.
