🕯 Gedenkveranstaltung: Nelson wird nicht vergessen 🕯
🔥✊🏾Gerechtigkeit und Aufklärung!✊🏾🔥
Warum?
Weil wir unserem kleinen Bruder Nelson gedenken wollen. Er ist am 01.08.2025 im Alter von 15 Jahren unter ungeklärten Umständen in der Justizvollzugsanstalt (JVA) Ottweiler zu Tode gekommen.
Wir wollen der Schwarzen, afrikanischen, afrodiasporischen Community Raum für ihre Trauer, Angst und Wut bieten.
Kommt und teilt eine Erzählung, ein Gedicht, ein Lied, einen Tanz, eine Übung, einen Gedanken oder lasst euch einfach von der Community halten.
Unsere Gedenkveranstaltung findet zeitgleich und in Absprache mit @change_network , den Organisator*innen der Demo ‚Gerechtigkeit für Nelson‘ in Ottweiler statt. Sie stehen auch in Kontakt mit der Familie von Nelson.
Gemeinsam fordern wir:
● Gerechtigkeit für Nelson und seine Familie
● Aufklärung und Konsequenzen für alle Verantwortlichen!
● Ein Ende rassistischer Gewalt – in Gefängnissen und überall!

Memorial Event: Nelson Will Not Be Forgotten
Justice and Transparency!
Why?
Because we want to honor our little brother Nelson. On August 1, 2025, at just 15 years old, he died under unclear circumstances in the Correctional Facility (JVA) in Ottweiler.
We want to provide space for the Black, African, and Afro-diasporic community to grieve, express their fear, and channel their anger:
Come and share a story, a poem, a song, a dance, an exercise,
a thought—or simply allow yourself to be held by the community.
Our memorial event is being held in coordination with @change_network , the organizers of the ‚Justice for Nelson‘ demonstration in Ottweiler. They are also in contact with Nelson’s family.
Together, we demand:
● Justice for Nelson and his family
● A full investigation and accountability for all those responsible!
● An end to racist violence—in prisons and everywhere!
