Am 12.07 treffen wir uns ab 14:00 Uhr in der Ahornstraße, um auf den Leerstand in der Schloßstraße und in der Umgebung aufmerksam zu machen und uns zu vernetzten.
Sozialen Einrichtungen werden Gelder gekürzt, Orte um sich zu treffen werden geschlossen und gleichzeitig wird viel Geld in Waffen und Rüstungen investiert.
Wir brauchen aber solche Orte.
Das Pop Inn ein ehemaliges Jugendzentrum in der Ahornstraße 15a steht seit über 10 Jahren leer und verfällt langsam.
Wir wollen, dass das Gebäude nicht noch mehr verfällt bis es irgendwann unutzbar ist, sondern dass dort stattdessen ein autonomes und selbstverwaltetes Zentrum entsteht.

On 12 July, we’ll be meeting from 2.00 pm on Ahornstraße to draw attention to the vacant properties on Schloßstraße and in the surrounding area, and to network.

Funding for social services is being cut, places to meet are being closed, and at the same time, a lot of money is being invested in weapons and armaments.

But we need places like these.

The Pop Inn, a former youth centre at 15a Ahornstraße, has stood empty for over 10 years and is slowly falling into disrepair.

We don’t want the building to fall into further disrepair until it eventually becomes unusable; instead, we want an autonomous and self-managed centre to be established there.

Come along for more information, to network, and to enjoy music, talks, food and games 🙂
