Ab Juli 2026 wird das Rheinmetall-Werk in Humbolthain seine Produktion von Autoteilen auf die Herstellung von Waffen umstellen.
Die von Rheinmetall produzierte Munition wird unter anderem von Israel beim Völkermord an den Palästinensern und vom türkischen Staat bei den Massakern in Kurdistan eingesetzt.
Während Sozialleistungen, Kunst, Kultur und Bildung verheerende Kürzungen hinnehmen müssen, pumpt Deutschland mitten im Herzen unserer Stadt Geld in Aufrüstung und Militarisierung.
Angesichts steigender Mieten, Armut, Obdachlosigkeit und einer immer größer werdenden Vermögensungleichheit hat Deutschland sein Rüstungsbudget auf den viertgrößten der Welt erhöht.
Wir wissen nur zu gut:
Während die einen unter der Gewalt von Sparpolitik und Armut leiden, profitieren andere gerne von Mord und Brutalität.
Kommt zu uns ins K19 zu einem Abend voller Diskussionen und Austausch darüber, wie wir uns gegen die Kriegsmaschinerie wehren können, und um Kontakte zu anderen antimilitaristischen Gruppen und Einzelpersonen zu knüpfen.
Wir werden nicht tatenlos zusehen und zulassen, dass Kriegstreiber und Profiteure des Völkermords in unserer Stadt ihr Unwesen treiben.
Wir sagen Nein zur Waffenproduktion in Berlin und überall sonst!

From July 2026, the Rheinmetall factory in Humbolthain will switch production from car parts to weapons manufacturing.
The munitions produced by Rheinmetall are, among other things, used by Israel in the genocide against Palestinians and by the Turkish state in the massacres in Kurdistan.
While social services, arts, culture and education suffer devestating cuts, Germany pumps money into rearmanent and militarisation right in the heart of our city.
Amongst rising rents, poverty, homelessness and ever increasing wealth inequailty, Germany has increased their arms budget to the fourth largest in the world.
We know all too well that while some suffer from the violence of austerity and poverty, others gladly profit from the murder and brutality.
Join us in K19 for a night of discussions and exchange on how to fight back against the war machine, and to connect with other anti-militarist groups and individuals.
We will not sit idly by and allow warmongers and genocide profiteers to operate in our city.
We say no to weapons production in Berlin and everywhere else!
