Guerilla im Wandel der Zeit – 40 Jahre bewaffneter Kampf in Kurdistan
Vor 40 Jahren, am 15. August 1984, fiel der erste Schuss im nationalen Befreiungskrieg Kurdistans. Unter dem Kommando von Mahsum Korkmaz (Agit) unternahmen die „Befreiungseinheiten Kurdistans“ ihre erste militärische Operation.
Seit dem entwickelte sich der revolutionäre Prozess in Kurdistan stetig, erzielte Erfolge, lernte aus Niederlagen und nahm grundlegende Umstrukturierungen vor. „Der Motor dieses Prozesses ist die Guerilla, das Denksystem der Guerilla, die Lebensweise der Guerilla, die Art des Kampfes der Guerilla“, sagt der Oberkommandeur Murat Karayilan.
Am 16. August wollen wir mit diesem Anlass zusammenkommen.
Ein internationalistischer Aktivist wird im Rahmen eines Vortrages die Erfahrung der Guerilla der PKK, ihren Durchbruch hin zu einer professionalisierten modernen Guerilla sowie den Wandel ihrer Selbsteinordnung im revolutionären Prozess beleuchten.
Genoss:innen der „Revolutionären Jugendbewegung Kurdistans“ (TCS) werden darüber hinaus in einem Redebeitrag auf die Bedeutung des 15. August für die kurdische Jugend eingehen und der „Kommunistische Jugendbund“ (KJB) wird ihre Lehren aus dem Prozess in Kurdistan für den Kampf in Deutschland darstellen.

Guerrillas through the ages – 40 years of armed struggle in Kurdistan
40 years ago, on 15 August 1984, the first shot was fired in the Kurdistan National Liberation War. Under the command of Mahsum Korkmaz (Agit), the „Kurdistan Liberation Units“ undertook their first military operation.
Since then, the revolutionary process in Kurdistan has developed steadily, achieving successes, learning from defeats and undertaking fundamental reorganisation. „The engine of this process is the guerrilla, the guerrilla’s system of thought, the guerrilla’s way of life, the guerrilla’s way of fighting,“ says the commander-in-chief Murat Karayilan.
On 16 August, we want to come together for this occasion.
An internationalist activist will give a lecture on the experience of the PKK guerrillas, their breakthrough to a professionalised modern guerrilla and the change in their self-classification in the revolutionary process.
Comrades from the „Revolutionary Youth Movement of Kurdistan“ (TCS) will also speak about the significance of 15 August for Kurdish youth and the „Communist Youth League“ (KJB) will present their lessons from the process in Kurdistan for the struggle in Germany.
