Ab nächster Woche will der Bundestag über die Umsetzung der europäischen Asylreform GEAS beraten. Damit drohen schwerwiegende Menschen- und Kinderrechtsverletzungen für Geflüchtete in Deutschland.
Der Gesetzentwurf sieht unter anderem eine starke Ausweitung von Maßnahmen zur Freiheitsbeschränkung und Freiheitsentziehung vor.
Selbst Kinder sollen unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen in Haft oder unter haftähnlichen Bedingungen untergebracht werden können.
Wir stellen uns entschieden dagegen. Für uns ist klar: Geflüchtete Kinder müssen geschützt und dürfen nicht weggesperrt werden.
Kommt am nächsten Mittwoch zum Brandenburger Tor und setzt mit uns ein Zeichen für den Schutz geflüchteter Kinder!

Starting next week, the Bundestag will debate the implementation of the European asylum reform GEAS. This threatens serious human and children’s rights violations for refugees in Germany.
Among other things, the draft law provides for a significant expansion of measures to restrict and deprive people of their liberty.
Under certain conditions, even children could be detained or placed in detention-like conditions.
We are strongly opposed to this. For us, it is clear: refugee children must be protected and must not be locked away.
Come to the Brandenburg Gate next Wednesday and join us in sending a message for the protection of refugee children!
