Am kommenden Montag, den 14.09.2024 um 16.00 Uhr vor dem Roten Rathaus organisiert die AG weiße Fahne gemeinsam mit dem DBSH eine Protestkundgebung anlässlich des 100-jährigen Bestehens des Jugendamtes.
Während Politik und Verwaltung das Jubiläum nutzen, um sich selbst zu beweihräuchern, erleben wir täglich die Auswirkungen eines immer weiter ausgehöhlten Sozialstaates: Personalmangel, überlastete Sozialarbeiter*innen und prekäre Arbeitsbedingungen prägen unseren Alltag.
„Während oben der Kaviar serviert wird, kämpfen wir unten um das Nötigste: Klopapier, Dolmetscher, Ausstattung, jeden Cent, notwendige Hilfsmittel, jede Fachleistungsstunde oder die Hauptstadtzulage für alle.“ (AG – Weiße Fahnen)

Next Monday, 14.09.2024 at 16:00 in front of the Rotes Rathaus, the AG weiße Fahne is organising a protest rally together with the DBSH to mark the 100th anniversary of the Youth Welfare Office.
While politicians and the administration are using the anniversary to celebrate themselves, we are experiencing the effects of an increasingly hollowed-out welfare state on a daily basis: staff shortages, overworked social workers and precarious working conditions characterise our everyday lives.
‘While the caviar is served at the top, we fight for the bare necessities at the bottom: toilet paper, interpreters, equipment, every cent, necessary aids, every hour of specialist services or the capital city allowance for all.’ (AG – White Flags)
