Der „Budapest-Komplex“ bezieht sich auf ein umfangreiches Ermittlungsverfahren gegen Antifaschist*innen, das im Zusammenhang mit Protesten gegen den rechtsextremen „Tag der Ehre“ in Budapest im Februar 2023 steht.
Diese jährliche Veranstaltung bringt Neonazis aus ganz Europa zusammen, um gefallenen NS-Soldaten zu gedenken.
Der Fall hat internationale Aufmerksamkeit erregt, da er eine europaweite Kriminalisierung gegen Antifaschist*innen zur Folge hat, bei der langjährige Freiheitsstrafen drohen.
Im Zentrum steht dabei ein Regime in Ungarn, das seit Jahren mit Hilfe von Feindbildern wie „Antifaschis-mus* eine autoritäre Wende vollzieht.
Ab 16 Uhr kann die Ausstellung besucht werden.

The ‘Budapest Complex’ refers to an extensive investigation against anti-fascists in connection with protests against the far-right ‘Day of Honour’ in Budapest in February 2023.
This annual event brings together neo-Nazis from all over Europe to commemorate fallen Nazi soldiers.
The case has attracted international attention because it has resulted in the criminalisation of anti-fascists across Europe, with the threat of long prison sentences.
At the heart of this is a regime in Hungary that has been undergoing an authoritarian shift for years with the help of enemy stereotypes such as ‘anti-fascism’.
The exhibition can be visited from 4 p.m.
