Am 6. Juli 2026 um 16:30 Uhr laden wir euch herzlich zur Präsentation der Publikation „Koloniale Kontinuitäten in der Berliner Medizin und Gesundheitsversorgung – Machtkritische Ansätze zu Dekolonisierung und Antirassismus“ ein.
Das Gutachten untersucht historische und gegenwärtige kolonial-rassistische Kontinuitäten in der deutschen Medizin und Gesundheitsversorgung und formuliert ethische sowie politische Anforderungen für eine dekoloniale Praxis im Berliner Gesundheitswesen.
Ergänzend fasst ein Policy Brief zentrale Handlungsempfehlungen für Entscheidungsträger*innen der Gesundheitspolitik zusammen.
Bei der Veranstaltung werden die Autor*innen zentrale Ergebnisse vorstellen und mit uns über Herausforderungen, Perspektiven und notwendige Schritte für eine dekoloniale und intersektionale Praxis in der Medizin und Gesundheitsversorgung diskutieren.
Außerdem wird es Raum für Gespräche sowie eine Performance geben.

On 6 July 2026 at 4.30 pm, we warmly invite you to the launch of the publication ‘Colonial Continuities in Berlin’s Medicine and Healthcare – Power-Critical Approaches to Decolonisation and Anti-Racism’.
The report examines historical and contemporary colonial-racist continuities in German medicine and healthcare and sets out ethical and political requirements for decolonial practice within Berlin’s healthcare system.
In addition, a policy brief summarises key recommendations for action aimed at healthcare policy-makers.
At the event, the authors will present key findings and discuss with us the challenges, prospects and necessary steps towards a decolonial and intersectional practice in medicine and healthcare.
There will also be opportunities for discussion and a performance.
