Am Sonntag den 22. September wird der Brandenburger Landtag gewählt. Es ist abzusehen dass die AfD mit hohem Stimmzuwachs und wahrscheinlich sogar als zweitstärkste Kraft aus den Wahlen hervorheben wird.
Neben den Landtagswahlen in Thüringen und Sachsen wird auch die Wahl zum Brandenburger Landtag durch die AfD als Entscheidungswahl aufgeblasen. Dabei gefällt sich die AfD in ihrer Rolle als vermeintliche Oppositionspartei „der kleinen Leute“.
Dabei ist die Partei nicht nur rassistisch und queerfeindlich bis ins Mark, sondern vertritt Positionen die sich gegen die Rechte von Arbeiter*innen, Rentner*innen und Erwerbslosen richten. Die AfD ist gegen erneuerbare Energien und führende Mitglieder der Partei leugnen den menschengemachten Klimawandel. Sie fordert das Comeback der Wehrpflicht und mehr Geld für die Bundeswehr. All diese Positionen wird sie versuchen in Realpolitik zu überführen, sobald sie macht politisch dazu in der Lage ist.
Wir wollen der Selbstbeweihräucherung der AfD am Wahlsonntag einen Strich durch die Rechnung machen. Wir stören ihre Wahlparty mit einer lautstarken Demonstration und versammeln wir uns vorher am Potsdamer Hauptbahnhof zu einer antifaschistischen Kundgebung. Zusammen wollen wir die sozialpolitischen Probleme thematisieren, auf die die AfD nur ein „Ausländer raus“ als Antwort hat. Dies ist um so wichtiger, da die grossen Parteien gerade eine AfD-Ähnlichkeitswettbewerb betreiben und die rassistischen Forderungen der Faschist*innen übernehmen, in dem Irrglauben damit die AfD zu schwächen. Doch das Gegenteil ist der Fall.
Darum am 22. September alle nach Potsdam!

On Sunday 22 September, the Brandenburg state parliament will be elected. It is foreseeable that the AfD will emerge from the elections with a high increase in votes and probably even as the second strongest force.
In addition to the state elections in Thuringia and Saxony, the election to the Brandenburg state parliament is also being blown up by the AfD as a decisive election. The AfD is enjoying its role as the supposed opposition party of ‘the little people’.
The party is not only racist and anti-queer to the core, but also represents positions that are directed against the rights of workers, pensioners and the unemployed. The AfD is against renewable energies and leading members of the party deny man-made climate change. It is calling for the comeback of compulsory military service and more money for the Bundeswehr. It will try to translate all these positions into realpolitik as soon as it is politically able to do so.
We want to put a spanner in the works of the AfD’s self-congratulation on election Sunday. We will disrupt their election party with a loud demonstration and gather beforehand at Potsdam’s main railway station for an anti-fascist rally. Together we want to address the socio-political problems to which the AfD only has a ‘foreigners out’ answer. This is all the more important as the major parties are currently running an AfD-like competition and adopting the racist demands of the fascists in the mistaken belief that this will weaken the AfD. But the opposite is the case.
So everyone to Potsdam on 22 September!
All together against fascism!
