Der Vortrag von Forensis beleuchtet die staatliche Gewalt Deutschlands am Beispiel der aktuellen Waffenexporte nach Israel im Zuge des Völkermords in Gaza sowie des deutschen Kolonialgenozids in Namibia.
Forensis, der von Forensic Architecture gegründete Verein mit Sitz in Berlin, untersucht staatliche und unternehmerische Gewalt durch einen interdisziplinären Ansatz, an dem Architekten, Softwareentwickler, Filmemacher, investigative Journalisten, Wissenschaftler und Juristen beteiligt sind.
Deutscher Waffenexport nach Israel:
Trotz der weit verbreiteten internationalen Anerkennung des sich entfaltenden Völkermordes am palästinensischen Volk in Gaza, genehmigt Deutschland weiterhin den Export von Rüstungsgütern nach Israel.
Wir haben vergangene, aktuelle und potenzielle zukünftige Waffenexportgenehmigungen und -lieferungen aus Deutschland nach Israel untersucht, um einen Eilantrag zu unterstützen, der von Berliner Anwälten im Namen der Palästinenser in Gaza eingereicht wurde, um alle derartigen Exporte zu stoppen.
Deutscher kolonialer Völkermord in Namibia: Die Haifischinsel
Forensis und Forensic Architecture (FA) haben mit der Nama Traditional Leaders Association (NTLA) und der Ovaherero Traditional Authority (OTA) sowie dem Centre of Archaeology der Staffordshire University (CoA) zusammengearbeitet, um Stätten zu untersuchen, die im Zusammenhang mit dem 1904-1908 von der deutschen Kolonialarmee an den Ovaherero und Nama verübten Völkermord stehen.
Im Rahmen der Forschungsarbeiten analysierte das Forensis/FA-Team verfügbare kartografische und fotografische Belege, führte Feldforschungen durch und holte Zeugenaussagen über das Konzentrationslager auf Shark Island, Lüderitz, in den Jahren 1905-1908 ein.

This lecture by Forensis looks into state violence committed by Germany by the examples of current weapons exports to Israel in the wake of the Genocide in Gaza as well as the German Colonial Genocide in Namibia.
Forensis, the Berlin based association founded by Forensic Architecture, investigates state and corporate violence through an interdisciplinary approach which includes architects, software developers, filmmakers, investigative journalists, scientists, and lawyers.
German Weapons Export to Israel:
Despite widespread international recognition of the unfolding genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza, Germany continues to authorise the export of military equipment to Israel.
We studied past, current, and potential future arms export licences and deliveries from Germany to Israel to support an urgent application filed by Berlin-based lawyers on behalf of Palestinians in Gaza to stop all such exports.
German Colonial Genocide in Namibia: Shark Island
Forensis and Forensic Architecture (FA) have worked with the Nama Traditional Leaders Association (NTLA) and the Ovaherero Traditional Authority (OTA) and the Centre of Archaeology at Staffordshire University (CoA) to study sites related to the 1904-1908 genocide perpetrated against the Ovaherero and Nama by the German Colonial Army.
As part of its overall research, the Forensis/FA team analysed available cartographic and photographic evidence, conducted fieldwork and solicited testimonies related to the concentration camp in Shark Island, Lüderitz, between 1905-1908.
