Am Sonntag, 11. Februar, serviert Deine LieblingsVoKü ab 19 Uhr im Kiezladen Sonnenallee 154 wieder leckere vegane Speisen.
Danach schauen wir auf Utopien und Dystopien des Wohnens.
An Geflüchteten wird derzeit ausprobiert, wie sehr die Logik von Gefängnissen auf die marginalisierten Teile der Gesellschaft ausgedehnt werden kann. Beispielhaft dafür steht das „Ankunftszentrum“ Berlin-Tegel. Die Bewohner:innen bezeichnen das Leben und die Unterversorgung dort als Folter.
Dass es auch anders ginge, zeigt das selbstverwaltete Camp Lavrio in Griechenland. Es wurde allerdings im Juli 2023 auf Druck von Türkei und NATO durch den Staat geräumt.
Wir haben kurdische Freunde zu Gast, die in beiden Lagern gelebt haben. Sie berichten uns von der demokratischen Selbstverwaltung in Lavrio und wie es danach weiterging.

On Sunday, 11 February, Deine LieblingsVoKü will once again be serving delicious vegan food at Kiezladen Sonnenallee 154 from 7 pm.
Afterwards, we will look at utopias and dystopias of housing.
The extent to which the logic of prisons can be extended to the marginalised sections of society is currently being tested on refugees. The Berlin-Tegel „arrival centre“ is a good example of this. The residents describe life and the lack of care there as torture.
The self-managed Lavrio camp in Greece shows that things could be different. However, it was evacuated by the state in July 2023 under pressure from Turkey and NATO.
We have Kurdish friends as guests who have lived in both camps. They will tell us about the democratic self-administration in Lavrio and what happened afterwards.
