Anfang der Jahres beteiligten wir uns als FKO gemeinsam mit anderen Organisationen an einer Delegation nach Kurdistan um von dort aus zu berichten.
Als die Gruppe, von welcher auch unsere Genossin Paula Maier Teil war, in der Stadt Mardin ankam, wurden sie festgenommen und sollten abgeschoben werden.
In Abschiebehaft erfuhr Paula schwerste sexualisierte Gewalt und Folter.
Paulas Fall ist kein Einzelfall.
Patriachale Gewalt wird systematisch als Mittel eingesetzt, widerständige Frauen zu brechen.
Gerade die Revolution in Rojava, mit ihren Errungenschaften durch politische, kämpfende Frauen, ist den Unterdrückern ein Dorn im Auge.
Wir lassen uns nicht unseren Protest und unseren Kampf nehmen.
Ihre Repression bricht uns nicht.
Wir stehen dagegen gemeinsam an, in Frauensolidarität vereint.
Die Frauenrevolution ist unsere Antwort!

At the start of the year, we at FKO joined forces with other organisations to take part in a delegation to Kurdistan to report on the situation there.
When the group, which included our comrade Paula Maier, arrived in the city of Mardin, they were arrested and were due to be deported.
Whilst in detention pending deportation, Paula suffered the most severe sexualised violence and torture.
Paula’s case is not an isolated incident.
Patriarchal violence is systematically used as a means of breaking women who resist.
The revolution in Rojava in particular, with its achievements made by politically active, militant women, is a thorn in the side of the oppressors.
We will not allow our protest and our struggle to be taken from us.
Their repression will not break us.
We stand together against it, united in women’s solidarity.
The women’s revolution is our answer!
