Aufruf zur studentischen Vollversammlung am 03.06.💥💥
Unsere Uni wird seit Jahren kaputtgespart: Wir wehren uns!
Nun ist das Hauptgebäude schon seit fast einem Monat zu, und wir alle merken tagtäglich wie es unser Studium und Campusleben beeinträchtigt:
Online-Lehre statt Präsenzvorlesungen, studentisches Leben am Campus eingeschränkt.
Das Hauptgebäude ist nicht das erste und es wird ganz sicher nicht das letzte Gebäude sein, welches geschlossen wird. Die Schäden an unserer Universität sind durch jahrelange Unterfinanzierung und Depriorisierung von Bildung entstanden.
Wir wollen unsere Unis schützen gegen die Kürzungen des Berliner Senats, doch der Ausgleich dieser Schäden darf explizit nicht durch den Bruch der Zivilklausel zum Zweck der militärischen Nutzung der TU passieren.
Und nicht nur unsere Lernorte, auch das studentische Leben am Campus ist beeinträchtigt:
Die Schließung des Café A zeigt die Bedrohung, unter welcher auch unsere eigenen Räume an unserer eigenen Uni stehen.
Jetzt müssen wir ins Handeln kommen!
Als Studierendenschaft machen wir deshalb jetzt Gebrauch vom höchsten offiziellen Mittel, das wir haben:

Call for the student general assembly on 3 June 💥💥
Our university has been starved of funding for years – and we are fighting back!
The Main Building has now been closed for almost a month, and we are all feeling the daily impact on our studies and campus life:
online classes instead of in-person lectures, and restricted student activities on campus.
The Main Building is not the first, and it certainly won’t be the last building to be closed.
The damage to our university is the direct result of years of underfunding and the deprioritization of education.
We want to protect our universities against the budget cuts of the Berlin Senate, but compensating for this financial damage must explicitly not happen by breaking the civil clause to allow the military use of TU Berlin.
And it’s not just our learning spaces that are suffering; student life on campus is under attack as well.
The closure of Café A shows the threat facing our own student-run spaces at our own university.
Now is the time to take action!
As the student body, we are therefore making use of the highest official tool at our disposal:
