Eine Familie flüchtet vor dem Krieg, als die israelische Armee ihr Auto beschießt.
Das kleine Mädchen Hind Rajab sitzt plötzlich allein mitten in Gaza in einem Kleinwagen fest und telefoniert um Hilfe.
Draußen sind Schüsse und Panzer zu hören. Während die Stunden vergehen, versucht sie ruhig zu bleiben und gerettet zu werden.
Potsdam For Palestine zeigt den preisgekrönten Film „Die Stimme von Hind Rajab“, der bislang noch nicht in Potsdam aufgeführt wurde.
In dokumentarischer Form rekonstruiert er die Geschichte der fünfjährigen Palästinenserin Hind Rajab anhand echter Telefonaufnahmen mit Rettungskräften während eines Angriffs in Gaza Anfang 2024.
Mit der Vorführung wollen wir Raum schaffen, um die Realität des Krieges in Gaza anhand eines einzelnen Menschen greifbar zu machen.
Im Anschluss wird es Gelegenheit für Austausch und Diskussion geben.
Wir wollen über die humanitäre Lage, die politische Verantwortung Deutschlands und die internationale Solidarität sprechen.
Kommt gern vorbei und bringt Freund*innen mit.

Das Casino ist weitgehend barrierefrei. Innen sind die Wege größtenteils eben, außen gibt es jedoch Backsteinpflaster.

A family flees the war as the Israeli army fires on their car.
The little girl Hind Rajab suddenly finds herself alone, trapped in a small car in the middle of Gaza, phoning for help.
Outside, gunfire and tanks can be heard. As the hours pass, she tries to stay calm and wait to be rescued.
Potsdam For Palestine presents the award-winning film “The Voice of Hind Rajab”, which has not yet been screened in Potsdam.
In documentary form, it reconstructs the story of the five-year-old Palestinian girl Hind Rajab using real telephone recordings with emergency services during an attack in Gaza in early 2024.
With this screening, we aim to create a space to make the reality of the war in Gaza tangible through the story of one individual.
Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for discussion and exchange.
We want to talk about the humanitarian situation, Germany’s political responsibility and international solidarity.
