Deutschland rüstet auf und kürzt dafür den Sozialstaat inklusive der Sozialen Arbeit immer weiter weg.
Erst vorgestern hat der Paritätische einen Bericht über ein internes Dokument des Kanzleramts veröffentlicht, das einen weiteren Kahlschlag der Jugendhilfe und der Eingliederungshilfe plant.
Was können wir dagegen tun? Die jungen „draft resisters“ in den USA der 60er und 70er Jahre haben vorgemacht, wie man eine breite Antikriegsbewegung aufbauen kann, als sie sich gegen den genozidalen Krieg der USA in Vietnam gewehrt haben.
Kommt vorbei und lasst uns diskutieren, was wir von ihnen lernen und was wir heute tun können.

Germany is rearming and, to fund this, is cutting back on the welfare state – including social work – more and more.
Just the day before yesterday, the Paritätische published a report on an internal document from the Chancellor’s Office that plans further drastic cuts to youth support and integration assistance.
What can we do about it? The young ‘draft resisters’ in the US in the 1960s and 1970s showed us how to build a broad anti-war movement when they stood up against the US’s genocidal war in Vietnam.
