Der Film erzählt vom mutigen Widerstand der kurdischen Bevölkerung und besonders der kurdischen Frauen im Kampf für Freiheit, Selbstbestimmung und Würde.
Während Kurdinnen und Kurden weiterhin Unterdrückung, Gewalt und Ungerechtigkeit ausgesetzt sind, steht die Bewegung „Jin Jiyan Azadî“ weltweit für Hoffnung, Solidarität und den Traum nach einem freien Leben.
Kommt vorbei, schaut mit uns diesen bewegenden Film, tauscht euch aus und zeigt eure Solidarität mit dem kurdischen Volk. Gemeinsam können wir ein Zeichen setzen.

We warmly invite you to our solidarity film night featuring the film “Kobanê”.
The film tells the story of the courageous resistance of the Kurdish people, and particularly Kurdish women, in their struggle for freedom, self-determination and dignity.
Whilst Kurds continue to face oppression, violence and injustice, the “Jin Jiyan Azadî” movement stands worldwide for hope, solidarity and the dream of a free life.
