💥Seit Jahresbeginn hat sich die Lage in Nord- und Ostsyrien/Rojava dramatisch verschärft. Islamistische Milizen der syrischen Übergangsregierung haben die Selbstverwaltung angegriffen, durch ein Abkommen konnte die Katastrophe eines Krieges gerade noch verhindert werden.
❓Wie ist die aktuelle Lage ? Was bedeuten die Entwicklungen für die Zukunft dieses revolutionären Experiments, für die Frauenrechte und multiethnische Selbstverwaltung? Was bedeutet die erneute Eskalation der Gewalt für die Zukunft Syriens?
💬Wir diskutieren mit Christopher Wimmer, Soziologe und freischaffender Autor aus Berlin. 2022 hat er mehrere Monate in Nord- und Ostsyrien/Rojava gelebt.

💥Since the beginning of the year, the situation in northern and eastern Syria/Rojava has dramatically worsened. Islamist militias of the Syrian transitional government have attacked the self-administration, but an agreement has just managed to prevent the catastrophe of war.
❓What is the current situation? What do these developments mean for the future of this revolutionary experiment, for women’s rights and multi-ethnic self-administration? What does the renewed escalation of violence mean for the future of Syria?
💬We discuss these questions with Christopher Wimmer, sociologist and freelance author from Berlin. In 2022, he lived in northern and eastern Syria/Rojava for several months.
