Filmabend: Wenn das Volk erwacht 🇨🇱
Anlässlich des 52. Jahrestages des Militärputsch in Chile zeigen wir „Wenn das Volk erwacht“ (1973), eine filmische Dokumentation der politischen Situation nach dem Amtsantritt Salvador Allendes 1970.
Gefilmt zwischen September 1972 und Mai 1973, werden sowohl die Anstrengungen der Allende-Regierung dargestellt, durch parlamentarische Mittel zum Sozialismus zu gelangen, sowie Positionen, die den friedlichen Weg infrage stellen.
Im Anschluss möchten wir gemeinsam über den Film diskutieren, kommt vorbei!
Unser Filmabend findet jeden zweiten Donnerstag des Monats in der Roten Lilly statt.

Film evening: When the People Awaken 🇨🇱
To mark the 52nd anniversary of the military coup in Chile, we are showing ‘When the People Awaken’ (1973), a documentary film about the political situation after Salvador Allende took office in 1970.
Filmed between September 1972 and May 1973, it depicts both the Allende government’s efforts to achieve socialism through parliamentary means and positions that question the peaceful path.
Afterwards, we would like to discuss the film together, so come along!
Our film evening takes place every second Thursday of the month at Rote Lilly.
