Obwohl im Sudan seit über zwei Jahren Krieg herrscht, ist in Deutschland nur sehr wenig über dessen Hintergründe, die geopolitischen Interessen und vor allem über die revolutionäre Bewegung im Sudan bekannt.
Im Jahr 2019 führte ein Volksaufstand zum Sturz des Präsidenten Omar al-Bashir.
Die Geschichte der Massenbewegung reicht jedoch viel weiter zurück.
Die Kommunistische Partei Sudans hat dabei eine wichtige Rolle gespielt.
Sidgi Kaballo, Mitglied des Zentralkomitees, wird aus erster Hand über den Krieg berichten, aber auch die allgemeine Krise im Sudan beleuchten – den Kampf für einen nationalen demokratischen Wandel.

While there has been war in Sudan for over two years now, very little is known in Germany about it’s background, the geopolitical interests but most important the revolutionary movement in Sudan.
In 2019 a popular uprising led to the overthrow of the president Omar al-Bashir.
But the history of the mass movement is much longer.
The Sudanese Communist Party has played an important role in it.
Member of the Central Committee Sidgi Kaballo will tell of his first hand accounts on the war but also shed light to the general crisis in Sudan – the struggle for national democratic transition.
