Das Café Arakil muss schließen.
Mit ihm verschwindet ein seltener Ort armenischer Diaspora in Berlin – ein Raum voller Begegnung, Wärme und gelebter Kultur.
Was bleibt, ist nicht nur der Verlust dieses Ortes, sondern auch die vielen Kosten, die eine Schließung mit sich bringt.
Deshalb kommen wir zusammen.
Für einen Abend voller Musik, Essen und Gemeinschaft – und um die Menschen hinter dem Café in dieser schwierigen Zeit zu unterstützen.
Freut euch auf armenische Musik, kurdisches Essen und gemeinsamen Tanz.
Kommt hungrig, bringt Freund:innen mit, bleibt, tanzt, seid da.
Die Einnahmen des Abends dienen der Unterstützung der Menschen hinter dem Café Arakil.

Solidarity event for Café Arakil
Café Arakil is having to close.
With it, a rare hub of the Armenian diaspora in Berlin is disappearing – a space full of encounters, warmth and living culture.
What remains is not only the loss of this place, but also the many costs that closure entails.
That is why we are coming together.
For an evening full of music, food and community – and to support the people behind the café during this difficult time.
Look forward to Armenian music, Kurdish food and dancing together.
Come hungry, bring friends, stay, dance, be there.
The proceeds from the evening will go towards supporting the people behind Café Arakil.
