Die freien Gewerkschaften der Welt und die internationalen Gewerkschaften stellen sich mit überwältigender Mehrheit gegen Isr*a*hells Völkermord, Apartheid und Besatzung.
Die Public Services International, deren Mitglied Verdi ist, hat bereits 2012 dafür gestimmt, BDS, die Palästina-Boykott-Bewegung für Gerechtigkeit, zu unterstützen und ihre Mitglieder zu Solidaritätsaktionen zu animieren, IndustriALL, der internationale Mutterverband der IGMetall, tat das Gleiche, etwas später.
Es gibt große globale Aktionen, wirksame Hafen- und Flughafenblockaden, gegen Waffentransporte nach Israel, gegen den Schifffahrtsriesen Maersk, gegen israelische Komplizen und Kollaborationen.
Aber die deutschen Gewerkschaften sind nicht am Zahn der Zeit und folgen stattdessen loyal der todkalten Logik der #Staatsräson der BRD.
In allen Teilen Deutschlands wurden Palästina-Solidaritätsaktivisten aus den Demos zum Tag der Arbeit und aus den Anti-Cuts-Bündnissen verdrängt, was dem gesamten Ethos und der Effektivität der Arbeiterbewegung widerspricht.

Build worker action against genocidal barbarism – time to increase workplace solidarity!
The free trade unions of the world and the international trade unions are overwhelmingly opposed to Isr*a*hell’s genocide, apartheid and occupation.
Public Services International, of which Verdi is a member, voted back in 2012 to support BDS, the Palestine boycott movement for justice, and to encourage its members to take solidarity action. IndustriALL, the international parent organisation of IG Metall, did the same a little later.
There are major global actions, effective port and airport blockades, against arms shipments to Israel, against the shipping giant Maersk, against Israeli accomplices and collaborators.
But the German trade unions are not in tune with the times and instead loyally follow the cold logic of the #Staatsräson of the FRG.
In all parts of Germany, Palestine solidarity activists have been pushed out of Labour Day demonstrations and anti-cuts alliances, which contradicts the entire ethos and effectiveness of the labour movement.
