Die Infoveranstaltung und Diskussion wird die Mechanismen von Boykottstrategien, den Einfluss und die Errungenschaften der BDS-Bewegung (Boykott, Desinvestition und Sanktionen) und wie man sich als Einzelperson effektiv an diesem Kampf beteiligen kann.
Wir werden uns auch auf das deutsche Unternehmen Siemens konzentrieren und erläutern, warum es als Ziel für unsere Aktionswoche ausgewählt wurde. Siemens ist in zahlreiche Verbrechen verwickelt, darunter die Mitschuld am Völkermord in Gaza, die Besetzung Palästinas, die Militarisierung der Grenzen, die Umweltzerstörung und die Profite aus der Waffenproduktion und den Geschäften mit unterdrückerischen Regimen. Unser Ziel ist es, aufzuzeigen, wie große Konzerne wie Siemens durch ihr unerbittliches Streben nach Gewinnmaximierung systematisch Unterdrückung verstärken und davon profitieren.
Die Präsentation wird konkrete Ideen liefern, wie man sich Boykottkampagnen anschließen und sie unterstützen kann, wobei die Erfahrungen aus früheren erfolgreichen Aktionen berücksichtigt werden. Nimm an unserem Info-Event teil, um ein tieferes Verständnis zu erlangen und praktische Möglichkeiten zu entdecken etwas zu verändern.

The info event and discussion will explore the mechanics of boycotting strategies, the influence and achievements of the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, and Sanction) movement, and how individuals can effectively engage in these efforts.
We will also focus on the German company Siemens, explaining why it has been selected as the target for our Action Week. Siemens is implicated in numerous bloody crimes, including complicity in the genocide in Gaza, the occupation of Palestine, border militarization, environmental destruction, and profiting from weapons production and business dealings with oppressive regimes. Our aim is to expose how large corporations like Siemens systematically reinforce and benefit from oppression through a relentless pursuit of profit maximization.
The presentation will provide concrete ideas on how to join and support boycotting campaigns, informed by lessons learned from past successful actions. Join us to gain a deeper understanding and discover practical ways to make a difference.
Language: The event will take place in English with German whisper translation (you can write us for other language needs and we will try to organise translation)
