Am 7.12.2024 um 17:00 wollen wir zusammen auf die Straße gehen, weil wir es nicht hinnehmen können, wie innerhalb von wenigen Tagen von der Türkei unterstütze dschihadistische Kräfte die Metropole Aleppo fast vollständig eingenommen haben.
Dieser Krieg vor weitet sich aktuell in einem enormen Tempo auf weitere angrenzende Regionen aus und stellt eine massive Bedrohung für Rojava und für die in Syrien nach einem friedlichen Leben strebende Zivilbevölkerung dar!
Seit Jahren warnen die Menschen in Nord-Syrien davor, dass die dschihadistischen Kräfte sich reorganisieren. Genau die Menschen, die sich dem sogenannten Islamischen Staat schon vor 10 Jahren schon einmal entgegengestellt und ihn zurückgeschlagen haben, sind nun wieder Massakern durch die dschihadistischen Söldner ausgesetzt, sie greifen systematisch die Zivilbevölkerung an, verschleppen und misshandeln erniedrigen insbesondere Frauen.
In den vergangenen 10 Jahren wurde von den Menschen in Nordostsyrien ein demokratisches multiethnisches, multikonfessionelles System aufgebaut, in dem Frauen in allen gesellschaftlichen Bereichen eine führende Rolle übernommen haben. Dieses Modell steht in direktem Gegensatz zu den frauenfeindlichen Ideologien der Angriffe.
Sie sind Teil einer größeren Strategie die ganze Gesellschaften unter fundamentalistische, menschenverachtende Regime zu zwingen und Hunderttausende in die Flucht und Vertreibung und Tausende in den grausamen Tod zu treiben.
Deutschland trägt eine besondere Verantwortung, da es durch Waffenexporte an die Türkei diese Operationen indirekt unterstützt.
Solange solche Geschäfte fortgeführt werden, trägt Deutschland dazu bei, ein System zu stärken, das Frauenrechte verletzt und sexualisierte Gewalt als Kriegswaffe einsetzt.
Die Bundesregierung muss ihre Waffenlieferungen an die Türkei einstellen, die Angriffe klar verurteilen und sich aktiv für den Schutz von Frauen und Zivilist:innen einsetzen und gegen eine Zusammenarbeit mit dem Erdogan-Regime zu stellen.
Ein Angriff auf Rojava ist ein Angriff auf die Frauenrevolution und auf unsere Hoffnung auf ein demokratisches Zusammenleben!

On 7.12.2024 at 17:00 we want to take to the streets together because we cannot accept how jihadist forces supported by Turkey have almost completely taken over the metropolis of Aleppo within a few days.
This war is currently spreading at an enormous pace to other neighboring regions and poses a massive threat to Rojava and to the civilian population striving for a peaceful life in Syria!
For years, people in northern Syria have been warning that the jihadist forces are reorganizing. The very people who stood up to the so-called Islamic State 10 years ago and fought it back are now once again being subjected to massacres by jihadist mercenaries, who are systematically attacking the civilian population, abducting and abusing women in particular.
Over the past 10 years, the people of north-east Syria have established a democratic, multi-ethnic, multi-confessional system in which women have taken on a leading role in all areas of society. This model is in direct opposition to the misogynist ideologies of the attacks.
They are part of a larger strategy to force entire societies under fundamentalist, inhumane regimes, forcing hundreds of thousands to flee and be displaced and thousands to their gruesome deaths.
Germany bears a special responsibility as it indirectly supports these operations through arms exports to Turkey.
As long as such deals continue, Germany is helping to strengthen a system that violates women’s rights and uses sexualized violence as a weapon of war.
The German government must stop supplying arms to Turkey, clearly condemn the attacks and actively support the protection of women and civilians and oppose cooperation with the Erdogan regime.
An attack on Rojava is an attack on the women’s revolution and on our hope for democratic coexistence!
