In dieser Politischen Filmnacht bieten wir einen Einblick in „Paris la Révolutionnaire”: In den 1980er und 1990er Jahren kämpften anarchistische, antifaschistische Bewegungen und junge Antirassisten aus den Banlieues (Vorstädte) dafür, rechtsextreme Skinhead-Gruppen von den Straßen zu vertreiben.

Die Black Dragon, eine schwarze Selbstverteidigungsgruppe, ist eine der ersten Initiativen der ZULU-Bewegung, die sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat, faschistische Skinheads von den Straßen Paris‘ zu vertreiben.
Als Reaktion auf tägliche rassistische Übergriffe bilden sich in den Pariser Vororten ganze Generationen von schwarzen und POC-Antirassismus-Gangs.
Diese ersten „Jagden” auf Skinheads fielen mit dem Erwachen des „schwarzen Bewusstseins” unter französischen Jugendlichen und den Anfängen der Hip-Hop-Bewegung zusammen.
In direkter Verbindung mit den schwarzen Bewegungen in den USA stellt der Black Dragon die Vision von Black Power und schwarzer Selbstbestimmung in den Vordergrund seines Kampfes.
Im Anschluss an den Film findet eine Diskussion mit einem Mitglied der Gruppe ANTIFA GENÇLIK statt. Diese autonome antifaschistische POC-Gruppe wurde in den 90er Jahren in Berlin gegründet.
Im gleichen Sinne der Selbstbestimmung und des Kampfes gegen rassistische und faschistische Gewalt organisieren sich Generationen von Migranten und Migrantenkindern in Selbstverteidigungsbewegungen.

In this Political Movie Night, we offer an insight into “Paris la Révolutionnaire”: In the 1980s and 1990s, anarchist, anti-fascist movements and young anti-racists from the Banlieues (city outskirts) campaigned to drive right-wing extremist skinhead groups off the streets.

The Black Dragon, a black self-defence group, is one of the first initiatives of the ZULU movement, which set out to drive fascist skinheads off the streets of Paris.
In response to daily racist attacks, entire generations of black and POC anti-racist gangs are formed in the Paris suburbs.
These first “hunts” for skinheads coincided with the awakening of “black consciousness” among French youth and the beginnings of the hip-hop movement.
In direct connection with the black movements in the U.S., the Black Dragon puts the vision of Black Power and black self-determination at the forefront of its struggle.
The film will be followed by a discussion with a member of the group ANTIFA GENÇLIK This autonomous anti-fascist POC group was formed in Berlin in the 90s.
In the same sense of self-determination and the fight Against racist and fascist violence, generations of migrants and migrant children are organising in self-defence movements.
