18:30 – Input mit Filmausschnitten aus dem Filmprojekt mit den Lumad
19:00 – Küfa mit Philippinischen essen (Vegan)
Die Philippinen sind Heimat von über 17 Millionen indigenen Menschen, die sich auf 110 ethno-linguistische Gruppen verteilen.
Die Lumad sind eine davon. Wie so viele andere indigene Bevölkerungsgruppen auf der Welt leiden die Lumad unter politisch motivierter Unterdrückung, Vertreibung und Verfolgung, die mit dem großen Rohstoffvorkommen in ihren Siedlungsgebieten in Zusammenhang stehen.
Landgrabbing durch Bergbau ist die größte Bedrohung für das Land der Lumad.
Wegen militärischer Angriffe, außergerichtlichen Tötungen und der staatlich angeordneten Schließung von Lumad-Schulen in Mindanao, wurde die ‘Lumad Bakwit School’ errichtet.
Das Geflüchtetenlager und Schule in Manila beherbergt 100 indigene Lumad-Kinder und Jugendliche. – Mit dieser befasst sich auch das Vorgestellte Filmprojekt.
Bebang und Ai Iyong, sind aus der Lumad-Bakwit-School und konnten ihren High School Abschluss absolvieren und verfolgen nun den Wunsch, ein Studium zu beginnen.
Mit dem Erlös unserer Veranstaltung wollen wir die Semestergebühren für zwei (oder sogar mehr) Schuljahre für die beiden bezahlen.

Ab 19 Uhr gibt die Küfa mit Philippinischen Spezialitäten (Vegan)

- Filipino Ceviche mit Tomaten, Mango, Pilzen, Chili, Kalamansi, Minze
- Gemüse Adobo
- Karotte, Süßkartoffel, gegrillter Brokkoli, Chinakohl u.v.m. in süß-sauer-salziger Umami Sauce
- mit Basmatireis, geräucherten Kokosraspeln & Koriander

The Philippines is home to over 17 million indigenous people who are divided into 110 ethno-linguistic groups.
The Lumad are one of them. Like so many other indigenous populations around the world, the Lumad suffer from politically motivated oppression, displacement and persecution linked to the large natural resource deposits in their settlement areas.
Land grabbing through mining is the biggest threat to Lumad land.
Due to military attacks, extrajudicial killings and the government-ordered closure of Lumad schools in Mindanao, the ‚Lumad Bakwit School‘ was established.
The refugee camp and school in Manila is home to 100 indigenous Lumad children and young people. – This is also the subject of the film project presented.
Bebang and Ai Iyong, from the Lumad Bakwit School, have graduated from high school and are now pursuing their desire to go to university.
With the proceeds of our event, we want to pay the semester fees for two (or even more) years of school for the two of them.

From 7pm the Küfa will be serving Filipino specialities (vegan)
This is what we cook:
- Kinilaw
- Filipino ceviche with tomatoes, mango, mushrooms, chilli, calamansi, mint
- Vegetable adobo
- Carrot, sweet potato, grilled broccoli, Chinese cabbage and much more in a sweet, sour and savoury umami sauce
- with basmati rice, smoked grated coconut & coriander
