Am Samstag, den 16.08. will die NPD (neuerdings Heimat) am Mandrellaplatz in Köpenick, wo sie seit 2000 ihre Bundesparteizentrale hat, für ihren kürzlich gestorbenen, langjährigen Chef Udo Voigt, und mutmaßlich auch für seinen inzwischen ebenfalls gestorbenen Verbündeten Horst Mahler, eine “Mahnwache” abhalten.
Die Heroisierung von Symbolfiguren des Rechtsextremismus – und zwar ausgerechnet gegenüber der Gedenkstätte der Opfer der Köpenicker Blutwoche, in der Straße, die an den Antifaschisten Werner Seelenbinder erinnert, ist eine Schande. Die Versammlungsbehörde hat es bis jetzt versäumt, durch ein Verbot der Neonazi Veranstaltung die Wahrung der Würde der Opfer des SA-Terrors vom Juni 1933 zu gewährleisten.
Jede Nazi-Ansammlung, ob Grillfest, Heldenfeier oder Konzert, ist ein Angriff auf unsere antifaschistischen Werte und stellt, besonders für behinderte, linke, queere und rassifizierte Personen, eine akute Bedrohung dar! Wir werden dies nicht ungestört und unkommentiert lassen!
Deshalb versammeln wir uns am 16.08. zu einer lauten und entschlossenen Kundgebung auf dem Mandrellaplatz!
*Dies ist eine Versammlung gegen Hass und Hetze, gegen jede Form von Antisemitismus, Behindertenfeindlichkeit, Nationalismus, Queerfeindlichkeit und Rassismus. Bringt Transparente mit und bastelt Schilder. Partei- und Nationalflaggen sind fehl am Platz.

On Saturday, 16 August, the NPD (now Heimat) plans to hold a ‘vigil’ at Mandrellaplatz in Köpenick, where it has had its federal party headquarters since 2000, for its recently deceased long-time leader Udo Voigt and presumably also for his ally Horst Mahler, who has since also died.
The heroisation of symbolic figures of right-wing extremism – and, of all places, opposite the memorial to the victims of the Köpenick Blood Week, in the street named after the anti-fascist Werner Seelenbinder – is a disgrace. The assembly authority has so far failed to ensure the preservation of the dignity of the victims of the SA terror of June 1933 by banning the neo-Nazi event.
Every Nazi gathering, whether it be a barbecue, a celebration of heroes or a concert, is an attack on our anti-fascist values and poses an acute threat, especially to disabled, left-wing, queer and racialised people! We will not let this go unchallenged and uncommented!
That is why we are gathering on 16 August for a loud and determined rally at Mandrellaplatz!
