Wir zeigen den Film “ Im Schatten des Orangenbaums“
Der Alltag einer palästinensischen Familie ist von Vertreibung, politischen Unruhen und persönlicher Sehnsucht nach Zugehörigkeit geprägt.
Die Erzählung beginnt im Westjordanland inmitten von Protesten und blickt zurück auf frühere Erlebnisse, angefangen bei der Vertreibung aus der Heimat bis hin zu den wiederholten Herausforderungen, die Loyalität, Identität und familiäre Bindungen immer wieder neu auf die Probe stellen.
Wie immer gibt es eine vegane Vokü/Küfa und Lagerfeuer.

We are screening the film “In the Shadow of the Orange Tree”
The everyday life of a Palestinian family is shaped by displacement, political unrest and a personal longing for a sense of belonging.
The story begins in the West Bank amidst protests and looks back on past experiences, from the expulsion from their homeland to the repeated challenges that constantly test their loyalty, identity and family ties.
As always, there will be a vegan communal meal and a campfire.
