13 Jahre nach dem Beginn der ägyptischen Revolution beziehen wir Stellung, um ein klares Zeichen zu setzen: Wir verurteilen auf das Schärfste die Mitschuld des ägyptischen Regimes am Völkermord an unserem Volk in Palästina, indem es die Belagerung des Gazastreifens aufrechterhält und sich weigert, seine Souveränität über den Grenzübergang Rafah, die ägyptisch-palästinensische Grenze, auszuüben.
Das konterrevolutionäre Regime von Al-Sisi hat nicht nur sein Volk in Ägypten ein Jahrzehnt lang unterdrückt, sondern seine Unterdrückung auch auf unser Volk in Gaza ausgedehnt, indem es Hilfslieferungen, medizinischem Personal und Journalisten die Einreise nach Gaza verweigert und gleichzeitig verwundeten Palästinensern die Einreise nach Ägypten verweigert, damit sie dort lebensrettende Behandlung erhalten können.
Das Schlimmste ist jedoch, dass das ägyptische Regime mit Hilfe von Auftragnehmern, die eng mit dem Militär zusammenarbeiten, das Leben der Palästinenser zur Ware gemacht und ihr Leid ausgenutzt hat, indem es ein Erpressungssystem eingeführt hat, das es den Palästinensern nur dann erlaubt, die ägyptische Seite zu überqueren, wenn sie den Auftragnehmern ein Schmiergeld von 10.000 USD zahlen.
Wir stehen unmissverständlich an der Seite unseres Volkes in Gaza und fordern die bedingungslose Öffnung des Grenzübergangs Rafah, damit alle notwendigen Hilfsgüter nach Gaza gelangen können und alle verwundeten Palästinenser in Ägypten medizinisch versorgt werden können.
Wir müssen auch betonen, dass wir jede Art von Zwangsumsiedlung in den Sinai strikt ablehnen und dass dies eine freiwillige Entscheidung der Palästinenser bleiben muss, die den Schrecken des israelischen Völkermords entkommen wollen.
Gehen Sie mit uns auf die Straße, um der Welt eine klare Botschaft zu übermitteln: Das ägyptische Regime ist ein Komplize Israels, und wir werden die Komplizenschaft von Al-Sisi beim Völkermord an unserem Volk nicht hinnehmen. Die Ägypter werden weiter für den Gazastreifen und für ganz Palästina kämpfen, bis es frei ist.

Gaza is the Test: Open Rafah Crossing
On the Anniversary of the Egyptian Revolution
13 years after the beginning of the Egyptian revolution, we are taking a stand to send a clear message: We utterly denounce the Egyptian regime’s complicity in the genocide of our People in Palestine, by maintaining the siege over Gaza, and refusing to exercise its sovereignty over the Rafah crossing, the Egyptian-Palestinian border.
Al-Sisi’s counter-revolutionary regime has not only oppressed its people in Egypt for a decade, but also extended its oppression to our people in Gaza by denying entry of aid, healthcare personnel, or journalists to Gaza, while simultaneously denying entry of wounded Palestinians to Egypt to receive life-saving treatment. Worst of all, the Egyptian regime, through contractors working closely with its military, has commodified Palestinians lives, and exploited their suffering, through an extortion scheme that only allows Palestinians to cross to the Egyptian side after paying a USD 10,000 bribe to its contractors.
We, unequivocally, stand with our people in Gaza, and demand the unconditional opening of the Rafah crossing to allow the entry of all necessary aid to Gaza, as well as to allow all wounded Palestinians to receive medical treatment in Egypt. We must also emphasise that we utterly reject any scheme of forced displacement into Sinai, and that it must remain a voluntary choice for Palestinians who wish to escape the horrors of the Israeli genocide.
Join us on the streets to send a clear message to the world that the Egyptian regime is an accomplice of Israel, and we will not stand for Al-Sisi’s complicity in the genocide of our people. Egyptians will keep fighting for Gaza, and for all of Palestine, until it is free.
