Kundgebung und Demo am 21.05.2026 am BVV Rathaus Yorckstr. 4-11 Kreuzberg, danach ist die alles entscheidende Ausschussitzung in der BVV. (18-20h).
Das Woho-Hochhaus – eine Mogelpackung:
80% sind als höchst lukratives Luxus-Wohnen und Gewerberaum programmiert.
Nur 20% der Fläche sind für geförderten Wohnraum festgesetzt – ein fatales Signal!
Die Ausrede, dass auch öffentliche Nutzungen angeboten werden (ca. 15%) lassen wir nicht gelten:
nach der neuesten Auslegung sind die groß angekündigte Kiez-Kantine und die Kita aus der Nutzung rausgeflogen – stattdessen gibt es ein jetzt ein großes Dachcafé, ein Flüchtendenheim und betreute Clusterwohnungen – alles sorgt für sichere Rendite!
Für das angekündigte Nano-Schwimmbad fehlt ein nachgewiesenes Konzept der Profitabilität, noch dazu befindet sich im direkt benachbarten @liquidrom.berlin bereits ein Angebot!
Den 1000x angekündigten „öffentlichen Mehrwert für den Kiez“ können wir damit beim besten Willen nicht mehr erkennen!
Fazit: Social-Washing Mogelpackung im Rein-Kristall.

Rally and demonstration on 21 May 2026 at the BVV Town Hall, Yorckstr. 4-11 Kreuzberg, followed by the all-important committee meeting at the BVV. (6–8 pm).
The WoHo skyscraper – a sham:
80% is earmarked for highly lucrative luxury housing and commercial space.
Only 20% of the space is designated for social housing – a disastrous signal!
We do not accept the excuse that public facilities are also being offered (approx. 15%):
according to the latest interpretation, the much-heralded neighbourhood canteen and the nursery have been dropped from the plans – instead, there is now a large rooftop café, a refugee centre and serviced cluster flats – all of which guarantee a secure return on investment!
There is no proven business case for the announced nano-swimming pool, and what’s more, there is already a facility in the immediate vicinity at @liquidrom.berlin!
With the best will in the world, we can no longer see the ‘public benefit for the neighbourhood’ that has been touted a thousand times!
Conclusion: Social-washing sham in its purest form.
