In Kooperation mit dem Forum InformatikerInnen für Frieden und gesellschaftliche Verantwortung (FIfF) zeigen wir am 16. April 2026 um 18 Uhr den Film Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk (OmeU) im @sputnik_kino Berlin.

Im Anschluss an die Vorstellung (ca. 20:20 Uhr) laden wir zur Diskussion über Menschenrechte sowie die israelische KI- und datengestützte Kriegsführung in Gaza ein – mit:
• Yasmin Khuder, Fachreferentin für Klimagerechtigkeit, Wirtschaft und Menschenrechte sowie wirtschaftliche, soziale und kulturelle Rechte bei Amnesty International Deutschland
• Dr. Rainer Rehak, Forum InformatikerInnen für Frieden und gesellschaftliche Verantwortung (FIfF)
Der Dokumentarfilm zeigt aufgezeichnete Gespräche zwischen der Regisseurin Sepideh Farsi und der palästinensischen Fotojournalistin und Poetin Fatma Hassona.
Fatma nimmt Sepideh anhand ihrer Fotos, Videos und Geschichten mit in das zerstörte Gaza und berichtet über das Leben im Gazastreifen unter der israelischen Bombardierung nach dem 7. Oktober 2023.
Der freundschaftliche Dialog zwischen den beiden Frauen reicht von Politik, Religion, Hunger und Zerstörung bis hin zu Resilienz im Angesicht eines Genozids.
Fatma Hassona wurde zusammen mit ihrer Familie am 16. April 2025 – nur einen Tag nachdem veröffentlicht wurde, dass der Film in Cannes Premiere haben würde – von israelischen Streitkräften in ihrem Haus in Gaza gezielt getötet.

In cooperation with the Forum of Computer Scientists for Peace and Social Responsibility (FIfF), we will be screening the film *Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk* (original version with English subtitles) on 16 April 2026 at 6 pm at @sputnik_kino in Berlin.

Following the screening (approx. 8.20 pm), we invite you to a discussion on human rights and Israeli AI- and data-driven warfare in Gaza – with:
• Yasmin Khuder, Policy Officer for Climate Justice, Business and Human Rights, and Economic, Social and Cultural Rights at Amnesty International Germany
• Dr Rainer Rehak, Forum of Computer Scientists for Peace and Social Responsibility (FIfF)
The documentary features recorded conversations between the director Sepideh Farsi and the Palestinian photojournalist and poet Fatma Hassona.
Through her photos, videos and stories, Fatma takes Sepideh on a journey into the devastated Gaza Strip and recounts life there under Israeli bombardment following 7 October 2023.
The friendly dialogue between the two women ranges from politics, religion, hunger and destruction to resilience in the face of genocide.
Fatma Hassona was deliberately killed by Israeli forces in her home in Gaza on 16 April 2025 – just one day after it was announced that the film would premiere in Cannes – along with her family.
