Zuerst von Spanien und seit 1975 von Marokko besetzt, ist die Westsahara die letzte Kolonie in Afrika.
Im 2010 erhob sich das sahrauische Volk in Gdeim Izik gegen die marokkanische Besatzung, woraufhin es zu gewaltsamen Repressionen kam.
Wir zeigen einen kurzen Doku über das Protestcamp Gdeim Izik (30 Min. EN Untertitlen), und ein sahrauischer Genosse wird über die verbleibenden 19 politischen Gefangenen aus Gdeim Izik in marokkanischen Gefängnissen berichten.

🇪🇭 Event: Resistance and oppression in occupied Western Sahara 🇪🇭
First colonized by the Spain State, and then by Morocco since 1975, Western Sahara is the last colony in Africa.
In 2010, the Sahrawi people rose up in Gdeim Izik against the Moroccan occupation, which was followed by violent repression.
We will show a short documentary about the Gdeim Izik protest camp (30 min. with English subtitles), and a Sahrawi comrade will report on the remaining 19 political prisoners from Gdeim Izik in Moroccan prisons.
