Vor dem Hintergrund der Angriffe auf die kurdischen Stadtteile Aleppos und die schwere Bedrohung Rojavas teilen wir hier den gemeinsamen Aufruf verschiedener Strukturen der kurdischen Freiheitsbewegung zur Demonstration gegen den Besuch al-Scharaas in Berlin:
Ahmad al-Scharaa: von Merz eingeladen, von uns angeklagt.
Aufruf zur Demonstration am 19.01.2026 um 16 Uhr am Brandenburger Tor
Ahmed al-Sharaa, auch bekannt als „Jolani“, Anführer islamistischer Banden und heute selbsternannter Übergangspräsident von Syrien – wird bald vom Bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz in Berlin empfangen.
Bis Ende 2024 war er Anführer der islamistischen Miliz HTS, die aus dem syrischen Al‑Qaida‑Ableger hervorging und für zahlreiche Menschenrechtsverbrechen verantwortlich ist – darunter fallen große Massaker an Kurd:innen in Aleppo.
Die Angriffe auf Minderheiten wie Drus:innen, Ezid:innen, Alevit:innen und Kurd:innen dauern bis heute an.
Bei den Angriffen der HTS werden besonders Frauen zur Zielscheibe gemacht: Schändigung der Leichen, Verschleppung, Vergewaltigung.
Während die Bundesregierung den Krieg in Syrien für beendet erklärt und über Abschiebungen sowie Investitionen spricht, verschließt sie bewusst die Augen vor den Verbrechen, für die al‑Sharaa und die HTS verantwortlich sind.
Der Krieg ist nicht vorbei!
Als vereinte Kräfte sagen wir klar:
Wir sehen das Blut an al-Sharaas Händen, wir sehen die Ignoranz Deutschlands und wir sagen ganz klar: Jolani ist hier nicht willkommen!

Against the backdrop of the attacks on the Kurdish districts of Aleppo and the serious threat to Rojava, we are sharing here the joint call by various structures of the Kurdish freedom movement for a demonstration against al-Sharaa’s visit to Berlin:
Ahmad al-Sharaa: invited by Merz, indicted by us.
Call for a demonstration on 19 January 2026 at 4 p.m. at the Brandenburg Gate
Ahmed al-Sharaa, also known as ‘Jolani’, leader of Islamist gangs and now self-proclaimed transitional president of Syria, will soon be received by Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz in Berlin.
Until the end of 2024, he was the leader of the Islamist militia HTS, which emerged from the Syrian Al-Qaeda offshoot and is responsible for numerous human rights crimes – including large-scale massacres of Kurds in Aleppo.
Attacks on minorities such as Druze, Yazidis, Alevis and Kurds continue to this day.
Women are particularly targeted in the HTS attacks: desecration of corpses, abduction, rape.
While the German government declares the war in Syria to be over and talks about deportations and investments, it deliberately turns a blind eye to the crimes for which al-Sharaa and the HTS are responsible.
The war is not over!
As a united force, we say clearly:
We see the blood on al-Sharaa’s hands, we see Germany’s ignorance, and we say very clearly: Jolani is not welcome here!
