Am 18. April um 16 Uhr findet vom Alexanderplatz eine Demonstration statt, um gegen die geplante Ausweisung der vier Aktivist*innen Cooper Longbottom, Kasia Wlaszczyk, Shane O’Brien und Roberta Murray aus Berlin zu protestieren.
Ihr „Vergehen“: Alle vier haben sich an Demonstrationen gegen den anhaltenden Krieg gegen Gaza beteiligt und sich mit Palästina solidarisiert.
Mit dieser Androhung der Abschiebung hat das Land Berlin nach dem Verbot unter anderem der arabischen Sprache auf Demonstrationen und dem seit Wochen anhaltenden Verbot von Lauf-Demonstrationen mit Palästina-Bezug ein weiteres düsteres Kapitel in der Unterdrückung von Meinungs- und Versammlungsfreiheit aufgeschlagen.
Wir rufen alle auf, sich solidarisch zu zeigen und gegen diese unrechtmäßigen Ausweisungen zu kämpfen.
Es geht nicht nur um die vier Aktivist*innen, sondern um demokratische Grundrechte, die auf dem Spiel stehen.
Kommt zahlreich, zeigt eure Solidarität und lasst uns dem Berliner Senat zeigen, was wir von seiner Einschüchterungspolitik halten.
Für eine solidarische Migrationspolitik und gegen politisch motivierte Abschiebungen – Solidarität kennt keine Grenzen!

On 18 April at 4pm, a demonstration will take place from Alexanderplatz to protest against the planned deportation of the four activists Cooper Longbottom, Kasia Wlaszczyk, Shane O’Brien and Roberta Murray from Berlin.
Their ‘offence’: all four took part in demonstrations against the ongoing war on Gaza and showed solidarity with Palestine.
With this threat of deportation, the state of Berlin has opened another dark chapter in the suppression of freedom of expression and assembly, following the ban on the Arabic language at demonstrations and the ban on Palestine-related running demonstrations that has been in place for weeks.
We call on everyone to show solidarity and fight against these unlawful expulsions.
It’s not just about the four activists, but about fundamental democratic rights that are at stake.
Come in large numbers, show your solidarity and let’s show the Berlin Senate what we think of its intimidation policy.
