Widerworte ist ein Zine über saharauischen Widerstand gegen über 50 Jahre Kolonialismus in der Westsahara, mit Stimmen aus den besetzten Gebieten, den Flüchtlingscamps und der Diaspora.
Gemeinsam mit Sidati Khalihina und Buhari Lehbib von der Saharauischen Jugend sowie den Herausgeberinnen des Zines wollen wir mit euch diskutieren – über die Bedeutung von Bildung für Widerstand im Exil und unter marokkanischer Besatzung.
Wir sprechen darüber, wie Zugang zu Information und Bildung im Kontext der Westsahara als Werkzeug der Befreiung aber auch Unterdrückung funktioniert – damals wie heute.

Widerworte is a zine about Sahrawi resistance to over 50 years of colonialism in Western Sahara, featuring voices from the occupied territories, refugee camps and the diaspora.
Together with Sidati Khalihina and Buhari Lehbib from the Sahrawi Youth and the editors of the zine, we want to discuss with you the importance of education for resistance in exile and under Moroccan occupation.
We will talk about how access to information and education in the context of Western Sahara functions as a tool of liberation but also of oppression – then as now.
