@khanya_ke_nkwenkwezi_baba Khanya Ka Athule Baba, eine Anarchistin und Feministin aus Südafrika, wird über die Bedeutung von Solidarität, kollektiver Organisation und kollektivem Handeln sprechen sowie über ihr Engagement bei der Besetzung von drei Gebäuden im Stadtzentrum von Kapstadt.
In der Besetzung leben derzeit 218 Familien, die von Räumung und Brutalität seitens der Polizei, privater Sicherheitskräfte und Vertreter*innen der Stadtverwaltung bedroht sind.
Außerdem wird sie über ihre Erfahrungen als schwarze Feministin und Anarchistin sprechen und darüber, wie diese Aspekte ihres Lebens durch ihr gemeinsames Engagement für soziale Gerechtigkeit, die Stärkung der Gemeinschaft und kreativen Ausdruck miteinander verbunden sind.

@khanya_ke_nkwenkwezi_baba Khanya Ka Athule Baba, an anarchist and feminist from South Africa, will speak on the importance of solidarity, collective organising and collective action, and her involvement in the occupation of three buildings in the city centre of Cape Town.
The occupation currently houses 218 families who are facing eviction and brutality from law enforcement, private security and city representatives.
She will also speak of her lived experience as a black feminist and anarchist and how these aspects of her life are connected through a shared commitment to social justice, community empowerment and creative expression.
