In Berlin Adlershof soll ein neues „Innovationszentrum“ des staatlichen israelischen Rüstungsunternehmen IAI entstehen.
IAI stellt Waffen für die IDF her, die sowohl in Gaza, der Westbank, Libanon und Iran eingesetzt und „ausgetestet“ werden, um dann mit dem Verkaufsmerkmal „Battle proven“ in die ganze Welt verschifft zu werden.
Am 23. Juni veranstalten wir im Jugendcafé einen Vortrag zu den Hintergründen der Expansion von IAI nach Berlin.
Im Vortrag wird es darum gehen, welche Rolle Israel in der deutschen Zeitenwende einnimmt.
Anschließend wollen wir diskutieren, warum Palästinasolidarität und die
Anti-Wehrpflicht-Bewegung zusammengedacht werden müssen und wie wir gemeinsam die IDF aus unserer Stadt vertreiben können.

A new “innovation centre” for the Israeli state-owned defence contractor IAI is set to be built in Berlin’s Adlershof district.
IAI manufactures weapons for the IDF, which are deployed and ‘tested’ in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon and Iran, before being shipped all over the world with the sales pitch ‘battle-proven’.
On 23 June, we are organising a talk at the Jugendcafé on the background to IAI’s expansion into Berlin.
The talk will focus on the role Israel plays in Germany’s current period of transition.
Afterwards, we want to discuss why solidarity with Palestine and the anti-conscription movement must be considered together, and how we can work together to drive the IDF out of our city.
