📚 Am 25. Juli 1943 verlor der italienische Diktator Mussolini die Unterstützung der italienischen Faschisten und wurde inhaftiert, was den Anfang vom Ende der faschistischen Diktatur bedeutete.
Die Freiheitskämpferfamilie Cervi organisierte eine große Feier in der Nachbarschaft und kochte Pasta für die Stadt: Der Kampf um die Freiheit war noch lang, aber dieser Abend war ein Moment gemeinsamer Freude.
Heute, angesichts des Aufstiegs der globalen extremen Rechten und der Militarisierung, die bereit ist, Menschenrechtsaktivisten und unterdrückte Bevölkerungsgruppen ins Visier zu nehmen, wollen wir dieses Ereignis lebendig halten, indem wir uns um Essen und Musik versammeln und Geschichten und Wurzeln austauschen, die all unsere Kämpfe verbinden.

🎤 Join for an afternoon of music, poetry, speeches and Italian food to reinforce the global fight against fascism!
📚 On July 25, 1943, the Italian dictator Mussolini lost the support of the Italian fascists and was imprisoned, marking the beginning of the end of the fascist dictatorship.
The freedom fighter family Cervi organized a big celebration around the neighborhood, cooking pasta for the town: the struggle to freedom was still long, but that night was a moment of shared joy.
Today, witnessing the rise of global far right and militarization ready to target human rights activists and oppressed populations, we want to keep this event alive by gathering around food and music and sharing stories and roots uniting all our fights.
