Freiheit für Maja!
Seit über einem Jahr sitzt Maja jetzt nun schon seit der rechtswidrigen Auslieferung in Isolationshaft in Ungarn.
Vorgeworfen wird Maja, gemeinsam mit anderen Antifaschist:innen einige Neonazis angegriffen zu haben.
Gegen die erniedrigenden und unwürdigen Haftbedingungen hat Maja nun zu einem der wenigen Mittel der Selbstbestimmung gegriffen, die in dieser Situation noch bleiben, und befindet sich seit über einem Monat im Hungerstreik. Majas Zustand ist dabei zunehmend kritisch bis lebensgefährlich.
Diese Kooperationsbereitschaft der deutschen mit der ungarischen Regierung macht einmal mehr deutlich, auf was für unsicheren Füßen die „freiheitlich-demokratische Grundordnung“ steht, mit der gleichzeitig die Aufrüstung begründet werden soll.
Im Zuge der zunehmenden Militarisierung nach innen und dem Ausbau der autoritären Staates wird ein solches Vorgehen immer mehr zur Normalität von politischen Gefangenen werden.
Dagegen hilft nur unsere Solidarität. Wir schließen uns dem Aufruf an, am 15.07. (und darüber hinaus) aktiv zu werden, um Öffentlichkeit für Majas Situation zu schaffen.
Das einzige, was diesen Staat dazu bewegen wird, sich für Majas Rücküberstellung nach Deutschland einzusetzen, ist öffentlicher Druck.

Antimilitarismus geht nur antifaschistisch, Antifaschismus geht nur antimilitaristisch.

Freedom for Maja!
Maja has been in solitary confinement in Hungary for over a year now, since her unlawful extradition.
Maja is accused of attacking several neo-Nazis together with other anti-fascists.
In protest against the humiliating and degrading conditions of her detention, Maja has resorted to one of the few means of self-determination still available to her in this situation and has been on hunger strike for over a month. Maja’s condition is becoming increasingly critical and life-threatening.
This willingness of the German government to cooperate with the Hungarian government once again highlights the precarious nature of the ‘free democratic basic order’ that is used to justify rearmament.
In the wake of increasing internal militarisation and the expansion of the authoritarian state, such actions will increasingly become the norm for political prisoners.
The only thing that can help is our solidarity. We join the call to take action on 15 July (and beyond) to raise public awareness of Maja’s situation.
The only thing that will persuade this state to work for Maja’s transfer back to Germany is public pressure.
So occupy party offices, be creative, take to the streets, be loud!
Anti-militarism can only be anti-fascist, anti-fascism can only be anti-militarist.
