Jeden Tag wird die Situation in Palästina schlimmer. Nur zwei Tage nachdem Israel vom internationalen Gerichtshof aufgefordert wurde, alle Operationen in Rafah zu unterlassen, bombardiert das israelische Militär Rafah und lässt die Vertriebenen bei lebendigem Leibe in Zelten verbrennen.
Und während wir gegen diese unvorstellbare Gewalt demonstrieren, werden wir massiver Polizeigewalt ausgesetzt und kriminalisiert wie es bei der brutalen Räumung des Jabalia Institutes an der HU zu sehen war. Auch wenn das Institut physisch nicht mehr existiert, besteht es weiterhin in uns.
Was bedeutet es für unsere Menschlichkeit, dass es NORMAL?! ist, verbrannte Kinder zu sehen und die Medien versuchen, dies zu legitimieren? Welche Menschlichkeit haben wir dann noch in uns?
Jede einzelne Universität und jedes Krankenhaus in Gaza wurde durch Israel zerbombt, wie können an der ASH Leute für den Sorge-, Gesundheits- und Bildungssektor ausgebildet werden, ohne das zu verurteilen? Wie zur Hölle kann der Hochschulbetrieb einfach normal weitergehen?
Die Hochschulleitung der ASH positioniert sich währenddessen einseitig, was unter anderem durch diverse Statements in e-Mails an die Studierendenschaft, die rassistisch konnotierten Plakate gegen Antisemitismus im Hochschulgebäude und das Zensieren von palästinensischen Stimmen bei sogenannten „Dialog-Veranstaltungen“ deutlich wurde.
Wir lassen uns nicht einschüchtern.
Wir werden auch an der ASH ein Zeichen gegen Genozid und gegen die Kompliz:innenschaft Deutschlands setzen!
Wir setzen uns für eine sofortige Waffenruhe und gegen die militärische Besatzung und Apartheid durch den Israelischen Staat ein. Dafür wollen wir zusammen mit euch trauern und laut sein.
Wir fordern alle Studis und Mitarbeiter:innen der ASH auf: Schließt euch unserem Protest am 05.6.24 um 13 Uhr vor der Alice-Salomon Hochschule in Hellersdorf an!

The situation in Palestine is getting worse every day. Just two days after Israel was ordered by the International Court of Justice to cease all operations in Rafah, the Israeli military bombs Rafah and burns the displaced population alive in their tents.
And while we demonstrate against this unimaginable violence, we are subjected to massive police violence and criminalised, as we were able to witness with the brutal eviction of the Jabalia Institute at the HU. Even though the institute no longer physically exists, it still exists within us.
What does it say about our humanity that it is NORMAL?! to see burned children and that the media tries to legitimize this? What humanity do we have left in us then?
Every single university and hospital in Gaza has been bombed by Israel, how can the ASH train people for the healthcare and educational sector without condemning it? How the hell can the daily university life just go on as normal?
Meanwhile, the ASH university management is taking a one-sided stance, which has been made clear by various statements in e-mails sent to the students, the racist posters against anti-Semitism in the university building and the censorship of Palestinian voices at so-called ‘dialogue events’.
We will not be intimidated. We will also set an example at ASH against genocide and against Germany’s complicity! We are campaigning for an immediate ceasefire and against the military occupation and apartheid by the Israeli state. Therefore we want to mourn together with you and be loud.
We call on all ASH students and staff to join our protest on June 5 at 1 pm in front of the Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences in Hellersdorf!
