Liebe Mitstreiterinnen und Mitstreiter, liebe Genossinnen und Genossen
Wir vom Antifaschistischem Kollektiv Stendal wollen mit dieser Pressemitteilung unsere Bestrebungen und Beweggründe für die Demonstration unter dem Titel „Stendal bleibt Links“ darlegen.
Wir wollen dass Stendal als Stadt mit vielen linken Perspektiven, Projekten und Initiativen auch als solche in die Öffentlichkeit tritt. Wir sehen aktuell besonders in Magdeburg und Salzwedel wie sich der Rechtsruck auf Menschen auswirkt, die in das Feindbild der Rechten passen.
Wir alle sehen die Wahlergebnisse, wir alle sehen die Menschenfeindliche Politik die von der aktuellen und zukünftigen Regierung ausgeübt wird und werden wird.
Aber wir sind mehr und wir stehen zusammen!
Wir werden in Stendal keine rechten oder gar faschistischen Ansichten tolerieren, nicht auf der Straße, nicht in den Schulen und nicht in der Kneipe.
Ob im Parlament oder auf den Strassen, die Gefahr wächst, und wir werden in Anbetracht dessen nicht verstummen, wir werden ihnen die Stirn bieten!
Ob Schüler*in, ob Arbeiter*in, ob Rentner*in, zeigt mit uns, dass ihr Rechte und ihre Strukturen nicht toleriert.
Für das Leben, für eine befreite Gesellschaft, hinaus zum 9. Mai!

Dear comrades, we from the Antifascist Collective Stendal would like to use this press release to explain our endeavours and motives for the demonstration entitled ‘Stendal bleibt Links’ (Stendal stays left).
We want Stendal, as a city with many left-wing perspectives, projects and initiatives, to be publicised as such. We are currently seeing, particularly in Magdeburg and Salzwedel, how the shift to the right is affecting people who fit into the right’s enemy image.
We all see the election results, we all see the misanthropic policies that are and will be pursued by the current and future government.
But we are more and we stand together!
We will not tolerate right-wing or even fascist views in Stendal, not on the streets, not in the schools and not in the pub.
Whether in parliament or on the streets, the danger is growing and we will not fall silent in the face of it, we will stand up to them!
Whether you are a student, a worker or a pensioner, join us in showing that you will not tolerate rights and their structures.
For life, for a liberated society, out on 9 May!
