Währenddessen versucht das Regime, sich international mit Scheinwahlen und Wegschauen von außen zu legitimieren.

Five years after the military coup, the people of Myanmar are still suffering from terror, air strikes and arbitrary arrests.
Children, families and entire villages are paying the price for a military junta that secures its power through violence.
Meanwhile, the regime is attempting to legitimise itself internationally with sham elections and by turning a blind eye to the outside world.
