Wir laden euch herzlich zu unserem nächsten Filmabend am 20. Mai um 18 Uhr in der Zwille (Reuleaux-Haus, TU Berlin) ein.
Diesmal freuen wir uns über ein ganz besonderes Programm:
Vier Kurzfilme erzählen aus dem Leben von Palästinenser:innen, von Gaza über Jordanien bis nach Europa, im Schatten von Besatzung, Vertreibung und Genozid.
Über verschiedene Genres und Perspektiven hinweg werden diese Filme verbunden durch individuelle und kollektive Resilienz angesichts der Zerstörung von Lebensrealitäten und der Destabilisierung von Identitäten durch koloniale Gewalt.
Die Regisseur:innen haben sich bereit erklärt, an der Veranstaltung teilzunehmen und mit uns über die Themen, die sich durch ihre Werke ziehen, sowie ihre Bedeutung für die globale solidarische Bewegung zu sprechen.
Essen wird es auf Spendenbasis geben.
Darüber hinaus wird Shahd Alshamali ihre Bücher anbieten, und ihr habt die Möglichkeit, das in **Rendered in Light** dokumentierte Mental-Health-Projekt TechMed Gaza finanziell zu unterstützen.

We’d like to invite you all to our next movie night at Zwille (Reuleaux-Haus, TU Berlin) on May 20 at 6 pm.
This time around, we’re excited about a very special program:
Five short films telling stories from the lives of Palestinians, from Gaza to Jordan and Europe, in the shadow of occupation, displacement and genocide.
Across genres and perspectives, what connects these films are assertions of individual and collective resilience in the face of the ways in which realities are destroyed and identities are destabilized by colonial violence.
The directors of these films have agreed to join us and discuss the themes of their work as well as their relevance for the global solidarity movement.
We will have food!
In addition, Shahd Alshamali will be offering some of her books, and we will be raising funds for TechMed Gaza, the mental health project documented in **Rendered in Light**.
