Mit der Neufassung des ASOG vom Dezember 2025 (Allgemeines Sicherheits- und Ordnungsgesetz Berlin) verschiebt sich die Polizeiarbeit spürbar von reaktiver Strafverfolgung hin zu präventiver Kontrolle & KI-gestützter Massenüberwachung.
Die Berliner Verfolgungsbehörden dürfen demnach jetzt noch härter und heimlicher, mit insgesamt mehr Befugnissen, an mehr Orten und mit dem Einsatz neuer Überwachungstechnologien vorgehen.
Zugleich plant die Bundesregierung, Polizei und BAMF zu erlauben, Bilder und Stimmen mit dem gesamten Internet abzugleichen.
Auch der Einsatz dystopischer Programme wie Palantir & Co ist geplant und dazu gigantische Datenmengen zur zentralen Analyse zusammenzuziehen.
Das alles und noch mehr soll ganz bald zur neuen Realität werden.
An diesem Abend wollen wir informieren und gemeinsam diskutieren:
Wie gestalten sich die neuen Gesetze? Welche Befugnisse werden eingeführt? Wie funktionieren die Technologien (basics)? Was bedeutet das für uns? Und was können wir tun?

With the revision of the ASOG in December 2025 (Berlin General Security and Public Order Act), police work is shifting noticeably from reactive law enforcement towards preventive control and AI-supported mass surveillance.
Accordingly, Berlin’s law enforcement agencies are now permitted to act even more harshly and covertly, with greater powers overall, in more locations and using new surveillance technologies.
At the same time, the federal government plans to allow the police and the BAMF to cross-reference images and voices against the entire internet.
The use of dystopian programmes such as Palantir & Co is also planned, along with the consolidation of vast amounts of data for centralised analysis.
All this and more is set to become the new reality very soon.
This evening, we want to inform and discuss together:
What do the new laws entail? What powers are being introduced? How do the technologies work (basics)? What does this mean for us? And what can we do?
