Warum die AfD keine Friedenspartei ist
Die AfD inszeniert sich seit Beginn des Kriegs in der Ukraine immer vehementer als Friedenspartei – ja zum Teil sogar als die vermeintlich einzige Friedenspartei.
Doch was ist wirklich dran? Wie steht die AfD zu Aufrüstung? Wie steht sie zu Rüstungsunternehmen? Wie steht sie zur Bundeswehr und zur NATO? Welche Widersprüche gibt es in der Selbstdarstellung der AfD als vermeintliche Friedenspartei?
Diese Fragen wird Alexander Kleiß von der Informationsstelle Militarisierung (IMI) auf Basis einer im April 2024 erschienenen Studie beantworten.

Why the AfD is not a peace party
Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the AfD has been presenting itself ever more vehemently as a party of peace – indeed, in some cases even as the supposedly only party of peace.
But what is it really about? What does the AfD think about armament? What is its stance on defence companies? What is its stance on the Bundeswehr and NATO? What contradictions are there in the AfD’s self-portrayal as a supposed peace party?
Alexander Kleiß from Informationsstelle Militarisierung (IMI) will answer these questions on the basis of a study published in April 2024.
