Das neue Gewalthilfegesetz – gestern Abend im Bundestag beschlossen – schützt Frauen vor Gewalt – aber nicht alle Frauen. Trans* Frauen und generell TIAN*-Personen bleiben weiterhin unsichtbar, obwohl sie überproportional von Gewalt betroffen sind. Aus diesem Grund rufen wir zu einem Protestaufruf auf! ❌
Während die Politik sich mit „Frauenrechten“ rühmt, haben juristische Beschlüsse oft weitreichendere Konsequenzen für die TIAN*-Community, als öffentlich zugegeben wird.
Selbstbestimmungsgesetz – und trotzdem gilt beispielsweise eine Hausverordnung? Auch dann, wenn sie transfeindlich ist und somit Diskriminierung bedeutet?
Ja, genau das passiert gerade. Im Dezember entschied der deutsche Fachverband der Saunen: „Hose runter“ – als fragwürdiger Test, ob eine Person „wirklich“ eine Cis-Frau ist. Im Januar folgten die Berliner Bäder, die das binäre Geschlechtssystem durchsetzen – ein kaum verstecktes Problem mit Transpersonen, trotz zahlreicher Beschwerden von TIAN*-Menschen.
Und jetzt der nächste Schlag: Ein Gewalthilfegesetz ohne Schutz für TIAN*-Personen. Wie lange wird es dauern, bis selbst bisher progressive Frauenhäuser sich dem populistischen Druck beugen und TIAN*-Personen abweisen?
Die gesellschaftliche Normalisierung von Transfeindlichkeit schreitet voran – und mit ihr der Faschismus!

The new Violence Assistance Act – passed yesterday evening in the Bundestag – protects women from violence – but not all women. Trans* women and TIAN* people in general remain invisible, even though they are disproportionately affected by violence. For this reason, we are calling for a protest! ❌
While politicians boast about ‘women’s rights’, legal decisions often have more far-reaching consequences for the TIAN* community than is publicly acknowledged.
Self-determination law – and yet, for example, a house ordinance still applies? Even if it is anti-trans and therefore discriminatory?
Yes, that’s exactly what’s happening right now. In December, the German trade association for saunas decided: ‘Pants down’ – as a questionable test of whether a person is ‘really’ a cis woman. In January, the Berlin baths followed suit, enforcing the binary gender system – a barely hidden problem with trans people, despite numerous complaints from TIAN* people.
And now the next blow: a Violence Assistance Act with no protection for TIAN* people. How long will it be before even previously progressive women’s shelters bow to populist pressure and turn away TIAN* people?
The social normalisation of trans hostility is progressing – and with it fascism!
