Liebe Freund:innen,
vor dem Hintergrund des Aufrufs von Abdullah Öcalan laden wir alle zur
Demonstration am 10. April in Berlin ein, mit uns gemeinsam für ein Ende
des türkischen Angriffskrieges und für einen gerechten Frieden in
Kurdistan einzutreten.
Gemeinsam wollen wir die deutsche Bundesregierung auffordern, eine
konstruktive Rolle im Sinne eines dauerhaften Friedens zu spielen.
Deshalb zusammen auf die Straße!
Freiheit für Öcalan! Für Frieden und eine politische Lösung der
kurdischen Frage!

Als feministische Organisierung laden wir alle ein, am 10. März zur Demonstration für die Freiheit von Abdullah Öcalan am Brandenburger Tor zu kommen.
Gerade jetzt ist es so wichtig, für den Frieden und die Freiheit von Abdullah Öcalan einzutreten. Sein historischer Aufruf zum Friedensprozess ist ein Appell an die gesamte Gesellschaft, aktiv für Frieden einzutreten.
Seit über 25 Jahren sitzt Abdullah Öcalan, Vordenker der kurdischen Freiheitsbewegung, in Isolationshaft. Seine Gefangenschaft ist nicht nur ein Angriff auf ihn, sondern auf die gesamte Bewegung für eine demokratische Moderne, Geschlechter- und Frauenbefreiung und soziale Gerechtigkeit.
Mit seinem Vorschlag der Frauenbefreiungsideologie hat Abdullah Öcalan den Weg geebnet für eine Gesellschaft frei von patriarchaler Unterdrückung.
Nachdem sich viele deutsche Politiker:innen positiv zum Friedensaufruf Öcalans äußerten, müssen diesen Worten nun auch Taten folgen.
Während der türkische Staat weiter Angriffe auf Kurdistan führt und Oppositionelle verfolgt, bleibt die Verantwortung bei uns, Teil dieses Prozesses zu sein und den Druck auf die Politik aufzubauen.
Frieden ist nur mit Geschlechterbefreiung, ökologischer Gerechtigkeit und Selbstbestimmung möglich.
Deshalb rufen wir dazu auf, laut zu werden und gemeinsam den Kampf für eine gerechtere und freie Gesellschaft entschlossen fortzusetzen!

As a feminist organisation, we invite everyone to come to the demonstration for the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan at the Brandenburg Gate on 10 March.
Right now it is so important to stand up for peace and the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan. His historic call for a peace process is an appeal to the whole of society to actively stand up for peace.
Abdullah Öcalan, the mastermind of the Kurdish freedom movement, has been in solitary confinement for over 25 years. His imprisonment is not only an attack on him, but on the entire movement for democratic modernity, gender and women’s liberation and social justice.
By proposing the ideology of women’s liberation, Abdullah Öcalan has paved the way for a society free from patriarchal oppression.
Now that many German politicians have spoken out in favour of Öcalan’s call for peace, these words must be followed by action.
While the Turkish state continues its attacks on Kurdistan and persecutes members of the opposition, the responsibility remains with us to be part of this process and to build up pressure on politicians.
Peace is only possible with gender liberation, ecological justice and self-determination.
That is why we are calling on you to speak out and resolutely continue the fight for a more just and free society together!
