🗣 Kurdische Sprache mit Untertiteln
In den letzten Wochen haben wir viele Male ein Rojava Café organisiert, um auf die Angriffe die Anfang dieses Jahres auf die Revolution von Rojava stattgefunden haben aufmerksam zu machen und Aktionen zu organisieren.
Mit der syrischen Regierung wurde ein Abkommen vereinbart, was zu
Waffenstillstand geführt hat, doch die Lage vor Ort ist weiterhin angespannt:
Die islamistische Übergangsregierung unter Al Jolani versucht die über Jahre erkämpften Frauenrechte und Organisationen von Frauen zu schwächen und zu verbieten.
Was es damit auf sich hat, und wie sich die Frauenorganisationen der YPJ vor Ort gerade organisieren, dazu wollen wir am nächsten Dienstag kurz sprechen.
Dazu wollen wir gemeinsam den Film – Commander Arian – schauen, der die Fraueneinheit der Kommandantin Arian im Jahre 2018 begleitet und einen Einblick in die Realität der Frauenverteidigungseinheiten, die gegen den IS gekämpft haben, zeigt.

‘Commander Arian’

Over the past few weeks, we have organised numerous Rojava Cafés to draw attention to the attacks on the Rojava revolution that took place earlier this year and to organise actions.
An agreement was reached with the Syrian government, which led to
a ceasefire, but the situation on the ground remains tense:
The Islamist transitional government under Al Jolani is attempting to weaken and ban women’s rights and women’s organisations that have been fought for over many years.
We would like to briefly discuss what this is all about, and how the YPJ women’s organisations are currently organising themselves on the ground, next Tuesday.
To this end, we would like to watch the film ‘Commander Arian’ together, which follows Commander Arian’s women’s unit in 2018 and offers an insight into the reality of the women’s defence units that fought against IS.
