Am 25.September findet die feierliche Einweihung von sieben Gedenkstelen statt, die als Teil des Projekts Dekoloniale 2024 in Kooperation mit korientation konzipiert wurde.
Sie bilden die temporäre Ausstellung „Wege des Erinnerns“, die an verschiedenen Orten in Berlin-Wedding auf die Geschichte kolonialer Gewalt und antikolonialen Widerstands verweisen und darüber informieren:
Manga-Bell-Platz, Anna-Mungunda-Allee, Maji-Maji-Allee und Cornelius-Fredericks-Straße, Pekinger Platz, Kiautschoustraße, Samoastraße.
Dank an Kimiko Suda und Sun-Ju Choi für ihre Arbeit an den Gedenkstelen an den Asiatisch-Pazifischen Straßen!
Wir laden euch ein zur Enthüllung der Gedenkstelen mit anschließender Führung und weiterem Programm. Kommt vorbei, bringt eure Freund*innen mit und lasst uns diesen besonderen Anlass gemeinsam feiern!

On 25 September, seven memorial steles will be inaugurated as part of the Dekoloniale 2024 project in cooperation with korientation.
They form the temporary exhibition ‘Ways of Remembering’, which refers to and informs about the history of colonial violence and anti-colonial resistance at various locations in Berlin-Wedding:
Manga-Bell-Platz, Anna-Mungunda-Allee, Maji-Maji-Allee and Cornelius-Fredericks-Straße, Pekinger Platz, Kiautschoustraße, Samoastraße.
