Zahlreiche Internationale Organisationen wie Amnesty International oder der UN-Menschenrechtsrat sprechen mittlerweile öffentlich von einem Genozid an der palästinensischen Bevölkerung.
Bundeskanzler Merz betont jedoch weiterhin, fest an der Seite Israels zu stehen.
Im Gegensatz zu anderen Ländern lehnt die deutsche Regierung auch die Anerkennung eines palästinensischen Staates ab, unterstützt Israel unter anderem durch Waffenlieferungen weiter und macht jetzt auch mit der Befürwortung des 20-Punkte-Plans der US- und israelischen Regierung, mit dessen Durchführung den Palästinensern jegliche Chance auf ein eigenes Land, verwehrt bleibt , klar wo sie stehen.
Was hat es also mit der deutschen „Staatsräson“ auf sich?
Wieso erleben Menschen auf Demos für Solidarität mit Palästina immer wieder Polizeigewalt und starke Repressionen? Was sind die Motivationen für die Deutsche Regierung, Israels Vorgehen immer noch zu unterstützen?

Numerous international organisations such as Amnesty International and the UN Human Rights Council are now publicly speaking of genocide against the Palestinian people.
However, Chancellor Merz continues to emphasise that he stands firmly alongside Israel.
Unlike other countries, the German government also refuses to recognise a Palestinian state, continues to support Israel with arms deliveries, among other things, and is now also making its position clear by endorsing the 20-point plan of the US and Israeli governments, the implementation of which denies the Palestinians any chance of having their own country.
So what is the German ‘raison d’état’ all about?
Why do people at demonstrations in solidarity with Palestine repeatedly experience police violence and severe repression? What are the motivations for the German government to continue supporting Israel’s actions?
